Hi there, I'm Janene! I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Restructuring, and Exposure Therapy. My focus is on individuals and couples, addressing Personality Disorders, Addiction, Relationship struggles, Stress & Anxiety, and ADHD. I hold a Master’s in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and am an LMFT, APCC. My approach I have a very Gestalt approach to therapy, allowing the client to be in control of their treatment and focus. My focus I have extensive experience working with addiction, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, relationship struggles and communication, and cognitive functioning disorders. My communication style I provide an inviting and calm environment and presence. My journey to mental healthcare I began my journey in 2001 with my first psychology class, taken out of curiosity. I then took another class because I was so interested. I took classes here and there until 2010, when I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree in the field and see where I ended up. Brains are pretty rad. My goals for you I often challenge clients to do homework assignments to create progress and focus. My first session with you The first session will focus on my understanding of you as an individual, your needs, and your goals for treatment.
