What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect. My approach is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, creating a space where clients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working toward meaningful change. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we will explore challenges, identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, develop practical coping strategies, and build on existing strengths to support growth and healing. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, or other personal challenges, I strive to meet you where you are and help you move toward the goals that matter most to you. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I encourage open communication so that we can create a treatment plan that feels supportive, effective, and aligned with your needs. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your therapeutic journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin developing a clear understanding of your concerns, goals, strengths, and personal history. During this initial appointment, I will gather information about your current challenges, discuss what has brought you to therapy, and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. Together, we will identify goals for treatment and develop a personalized plan that reflects your unique needs and priorities. Subsequent sessions focus on exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and life experiences that may be contributing to current difficulties while building practical skills and strategies to support progress. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each individual. Sessions may include developing coping skills, improving communication, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, managing stress, and increasing self-awareness. I use evidence-based therapeutic interventions while remaining flexible to ensure treatment aligns with your goals and preferences. Throughout the therapeutic process, we will regularly review your progress, adjust goals as needed, and work together to support meaningful and lasting positive change.
