Welcome to the first step toward a healthier you; I hope to help you on this journey. A little bit about me: I specialize in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and trauma. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, supporting your unique needs and goals. If you are ready to start this journey, I'm ready to help! I'm here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to be yourself. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively. My approach to treatment is collaborative and geared toward helping you build insight and lasting behavior change through structured, evidence-based techniques. I find that Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) work well for most people and use these approaches in my practice. Do you struggle with anxious thoughts, lack of motivation, depressed mood, or self-doubt? Maybe you have been in therapy before, and it just didn't seem to help. I work with teens and adults to help them understand what they are experiencing and to find a way to manage it that works for them. Focusing on your strengths and what works well for you, I will help you learn and build the skills you need to accomplish your goals. I believe that understanding is foundational in therapy. This includes me understanding what you are dealing with and how you experience it, and me helping you to understand why you are feeling that way.
