Psychotherapist
603 E 16th St, Holland, MI
Shaped by a wealth of life experience, I am a dedicated therapist specializing in the healing journeys of women and girls. My mission is grounded in compassion: to help you embrace self-compassion, build resilience, and rediscover your inner strength. I work with clients navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma and PTSD, intimate partner violence, perinatal and postpartum concerns, and grief and loss. No matter where you are in your journey, you don't have to face it alone. My approach is deeply person-centered — meaning your goals, your pace, and your voice lead the way. I draw on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to provide care that is both effective and tailored to your unique needs. Above all, I am here to walk alongside you — meeting you where you are and supporting you every step of the way toward the life you deserve. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about your background, any previous therapy experiences, what's helped you in the past and what hasn't, your trauma history, and what you're hoping to achieve. From there, we'll build a treatment plan together — one that truly fits you. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions Drawing from a rich tapestry of personal lived experience — including divorce, single motherhood, surviving intimate partner violence, and widowhood — I bring a deeply human perspective to my work with clients. I practice through a person-centered lens, leading with empathy and genuine curiosity to meet each individual exactly where they are.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
