She has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology from University of St. Mary, Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kansas, and have a Certification in Play Therapy from Mid-America Nazarene University. Her areas of expertise is self-care wellness, building self-love, self-confidence, and self-esteem. The client’s happiness and mental wellness are a cornerstones for healthy relationships. She believes that we all have the insight to resolve any barriers in life that we ascertain. Therapy provides the vehicle to support one to become aware of what is needed to overcome these obstacles. Jaresa’s work is centered around the strengths-based perspective. She believes that all of us have the ability to persevere over any obstacle. We all have natural gifts, talents, and abilities that enable us to overcome. It is important that these strengths be recognized from the beginning of treatment so that there is a foundation to build on.
