What should a new client know about working with you?

Life can unexpectedly become real hard, real fast. You’re searching through this site because you are feeling stuck and don’t know where to go from here. Perhaps you’re a stressed-out parent who just had their first child, or you're struggling to patiently parent your young children. Maybe you can’t shake that feeling of being irritable and angry all the time or bogged down with apathy and an empty feeling that tells you nothing matters. You might even be dealing with a significant loss in your life, and you can’t seem to move on already. Believe me, I’ve been there and done that. And if any of this resonates with you, I can help. I'm a Limited Licensed Counselor (LLC), equipped with a Master's Degree in Counseling from the Townsend Institute for Leadership & Counseling at Concordia University Irvine. Additionally, I have a Helping Professions Certification from the Townsend Institute and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. But my experience does not stop there. I have many years of experience in the business world, I am a parent, and I have extensive experience with spirituality. All of this culminates in my ability to relate to you and help you see the way forward to where you want to be. Look, I get it. Finding a therapist is no easy task. People who have worked with me describe feeling better. They have greater clarity, feel less overwhelmed, have a sense of calmness, and have greater feelings of fulfillment in life. If this resonates with you, please reach out to me, and we will get you started on a path to healing and growth. My commitment to inclusivity ensures that I provide counseling services to clients of all backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual orientations.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is grounded in experiential, relational, and attachment-focused therapy. The quality of and trust in the relationship you have with your therapist is crucial to your ability to experience long-term healing and transformation. This unique lens enables me to dive deep into the heart of your emotional world. Drawing from a rich toolkit, I employ various modalities like AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy), Attachment Theory, Trauma-Focused therapy, Mindfulness, Gestalt, and IFS (Internal Family Systems). This diversity ensures we use the methods that work best for you. By emphasizing attachment, we explore how past relationships and experiences influence your present emotional landscape. This understanding empowers personal growth and change.
