I became a counselor because of how counseling has impacted me as a client and my desire to support others in managing their symptoms and meeting their goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I support my clients by providing a therapeutic environment in which awareness and growth are encouraged so that you become your greatest problem solver. I hold a certificate in Career & Academic Advising and am currently seeking certification as a sex therapist and EMDR therapist.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am largely person-centered in my approach to working with clients. Outside of the intake session, where I will be asking a lot of questions, your sessions will be mostly directed by you. We will check in about any immediate stressors and process any ongoing challenges you are experiencing. I will check in regarding any work you agreed to complete between sessions
