Getting to know Jasmine DeBeary
I look forward to three things: meeting you, supporting you on your mental health journey, and eventually helping you feel ready to move on from therapy. While I can't promise or guarantee specific outcomes, I want you to know that I am fully committed to serving as both your therapist and accountability partner. Before starting my career as a social worker, I've held positions in behavioral health and rehabilitation services, building on my undergraduate studies in Administration of Justice.
My primary focus was on children and adolescents facing behavioral challenges, during which I made home and school visits to work directly with kids, their families, and teachers. These experiences provided me with an honest understanding of the challenges they face and helped me learn early signs of behavioral difficulties and targeted intervention strategies. Over 16 years in behavioral and mental health-including eight years as a social worker in the emergency department-I witnessed firsthand the urgent needs of individuals in crisis. Working closely with first responders, including paramedics and police officers, not only sharpened my crisis intervention skills but also positioned me to support clients facing challenges beyond just immediate emergencies. I have been truly fortunate to serve in dual roles: one as a hospital social worker coordinating patient referrals and another as a therapist providing care outside of the medical setting.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
