Getting to know Jasmine Perkins

A therapist job is to deepen their client’s understanding of their dilemma or trauma, not to “fix” it for the client! The client must do their own work! Dealing with childhood traumas, mother wounds and overall the hardships of life. I have a passion of working with Girls and women of all ages to support through life changes.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am very motivated about helping youth find and exercise their voices, and their most authentic selves; I work to equip youth and adolescents with the tools and skills to develop social emotional learning, coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, and many other issues which youth face day to day. I believe You are the driver of your own life, your behaviors, your thoughts, and your own growth. Take accountability and begin healing the way that is best for you

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety or trauma related to their childhood and current life. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life on track. I also work with clients working on coparenting(and agreements for court) and court mandated services.
