Getting to know Jasmine Scott

I am an EMDR Certified Therapist passionate about helping women with vaginismus break free from the shame, loneliness, and deep suffering that this condition often causes.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I help my clients build confidence, reclaim their bodies, and move toward pain-free, fulfilling experiences. I understand how guilt, fear and past experiences can contribute to pelvic floor tension, making intimacy and medical care feel not just overwhelming, but straight up impossible to achieve. If this sounds like you, please know that there is a way out and you don't have to suffer with this any longer.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

EMDR is a powerful therapy that helps you process past trauma in a way that allows your body and mind to heal. Unlike some therapies that focus just on talking about pain, EMDR helps your brain “reprocess” memories so they don’t carry the same emotional weight and physical discomfort. Over time, this can help you feel more at ease, both mentally and physically. When we experience trauma or pain, we often start to believe things about ourselves that aren't true such as "I can't trust my body" or "I'll always feel broken." These beliefs can get stuck in our minds and keep us from feeling safe or confident by causing us physical pain and heavy emotions that feel hard to cope with. In EMDR, we’ll focus on those beliefs and work together to replace them with beliefs that will leave you feeling confident, comfortable, and overall relieved.

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $100 for 55 minutes
Ongoing session: $100 for 55 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront
