What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is simple. You are an individual and unique and your therapy should be too. Together, we will work to find the treatment or blend of treatments that suit your needs best. In general, I use a person-centered, CBT-based approach to help you explore what's getting in the way of living your life to the fullest. If you are unhappy, anxious, depressed, frustrated with work and relationships, unable to enjoy the people and things you love, worrying too much? I can help.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Have you been overwhelmed with anxiety, feeling down, lacking motivation or self-confidence? Many of my clients find themselves on edge, irritable, at the end of their rope. Often, they struggle to see their own worth, burdened with negative core beliefs and memories of their past. They’ve felt like they haven’t had control in their life for far too long. They’re exhausted, burnt out, and don’t know where else to turn. They are humans having human reactions to this wild ride called life. My clients are adults (18+) who thrive with online therapy. They are looking for help with their problems and want to see someone from the comfort of their own homes. Because Capital City Counseling is fully telehealth, I am licensed and able to serve individuals living in the states of Louisiana, Nevada, or Utah.
