Getting to know Jasmine Williams

If you’ve ever felt like you’re “too much,” “too different,” or just don’t quite fit into the usual mold, you’re not alone and you don’t have to change who you are to feel comfortable in therapy. I’m Jasmine, and I genuinely enjoy working with people who are wonderfully quirky, neurodivergent, creative, or simply want a therapist who will meet them exactly where they are. You can bring your authentic self your personality, your sense of humor, your struggles, your questions, and even the parts of yourself you’re still trying to understand.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should be individualized because you are. I use a wide variety of therapeutic tools and am always willing to think outside the box to find what actually works for you. If traditional approaches don’t feel like the right fit, we can try something different. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, work through what has been holding you back, and develop tools that make sense for your life. Most importantly, I want you to feel like you can be yourself in the room. Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else it’s about understanding yourself more deeply and building a life that feels more authentic to who you are. If you’re looking for a therapist who is patient, open-minded, creative, and willing to meet you where you are, I’d love to work with you. Specialties My primary area of focus is trauma, particularly relationship trauma, dating experiences, and attachment patterns that may have developed from childhood experiences. Sometimes the way we connect with others, respond to conflict, or navigate relationships makes much more sense when we understand where those patterns came from. Together, we can explore those experiences without judgment and work toward healthier, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a person-centered approach to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express your thoughts, feelings, and concerns openly. I am also committed to providing services that respect and embrace your unique background and experiences. I enjoy using CBT and DBT techniques to explore the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I will help you learn valuable tools and techniques to improve your mental health and overall quality of life.
