Jason Ducos, LCSW

Jason Ducos, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NY
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and experience in crisis intervention and substance abuse counseling. I work with adults and couples seeking relief from trauma, grief, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, life adjustments, and even financial wellness. I believe recovery and healing are not one size fits all. Every individual and couple has a unique set of internal and external strengths. I use a holistic, creative, and solutions-focused approach influenced by trauma therapy, attachment theory, psychodrama, and the theory of intersectionality. I believe that no matter what point you are in life, there is room to heal, grow, and thrive as your most authentic self. I tell anyone seeking counseling that it's crucial to find a therapist who is the right fit and makes you feel safe and comfortable. If you are interested in working with me, I approach psychotherapy as an alliance. We are partners in your journey of self-discovery, reframing obstacles into lessons that help you live the most authentic life you can. It takes courage to admit that life's burdens are sometimes too hard to bear alone. Opening up in therapy is an act of courage, strength, and self-love. It would be my privilege to help guide you on your journey.
