Psychotherapist

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to walk through life’s struggles alone. My goal is to offer a safe, compassionate space where you feel truly understood and supported as we work toward healing and growth together. Part of what led me to become a therapist was my own experience with helping professionals. At times, I was deeply impacted by the care I received, and at other times I felt something was missing. That inspired me to dedicate my career to offering both the empathy that made a difference in my life and the research-based approaches I found lacking. Over the years, I’ve pursued specialized training in relationships and trauma so I could help others in the ways I once needed myself. I’m a licensed counselor in Florida (LMHC), Texas (LPC-S), and Utah (LCMHC) with over a decade of experience in hospitals, residential programs, non-profits, and private practice. I specialize in helping couples rebuild after betrayals or infidelity using the Gottman Method, and I also work with individuals facing trauma, life transitions, and spiritual struggles—including religious trauma, deconstruction, and the unique challenges clergy and faith leaders experience. I’m also affirming and experienced in supporting LGBTQ clients as they navigate self-acceptance and healthier relationships. Clients often describe me as warm, down-to-earth, and practical. I combine evidence-based methods like Gottman and Internal Family Systems (IFS) with a collaborative, relational approach—always tailoring therapy to what works best for you. Outside of therapy, I’m a husband and dad to three little ones, which keeps life full of laughter and energy. I enjoy traveling, reading, making music, and Latin dancing. Most of all, I believe therapy is about rediscovering hope, strengthening connection, and building a life that feels whole.
