What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect therapy to be both supportive and practical. I strive to create an environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself while also helping you make meaningful progress toward your goals. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative. Rather than telling you what to do, we’ll work together to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify your strengths, and develop strategies that fit your life. Whether you’re working through ADHD, anxiety, or relationship concerns, my goal is for you to leave each session with greater clarity and practical tools you can begin using right away.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions focus on getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and identifying the goals you hope to achieve in therapy. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that reflects what’s most important to you. As therapy progresses, sessions are tailored to your individual needs. Depending on your goals, we may focus on improving executive functioning skills, managing anxiety, strengthening communication, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, building healthier coping strategies, or processing difficult life experiences. We’ll regularly review your progress and adjust our work together to ensure therapy remains meaningful, practical, and focused on helping you achieve lasting change.
