Jason Shott, LCSW

Jason Shott, LCSW

Psychotherapist
PA
My background and expertise in social work and transpersonal psychology provide me with a rich foundation for working with clients across a wide spectrum of challenges and life stages. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the Catholic University of America, which has further equipped me to adapt practice modalities to meet the unique needs of each client, supporting a client-centered approach. I have experience working with chronic mental illness, particularly through the recovery model of mental health. This helps clients navigate their journeys toward wellness and stability. By focusing on strengths, empowerment, and resilience, I support clients in reclaiming their lives and identities beyond their diagnoses. Moreover, I have extensive experience with clients facing difficult life transitions, including adult children and older adults. I am compassionate in helping individuals navigate periods of change, loss, and growth. These transitions can be particularly challenging, and I strive to help clients find meaning and adaptability during such times. I am dedicated to serving clients of diverse ages and backgrounds, along with a commitment to ongoing learning and adaptability. I embody a holistic and compassionate approach to social work.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
