Getting to know Jason Stevens

Therapy is most meaningful when I can give others a space to be heard, valued, challenged, and accepted. I enjoy partnering with people who openly explore their own values and goals and how that connects to the life they want for themselves. It is a brave endeavor to allow yourself to be known and to be vulnerable to another. I am privileged to help people navigate the barriers that prevent them from living the life they want and feel that therapy is a space where they can just be without judgment or fear. I have extensive experience working with people with trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also explore LGBTQ+ topics and faith deconstruction. I have a strong background in DBT, CBT, ACT, and Strength-Based Therapy. Helping people lean into their strengths builds confidence and resilience through their struggles. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Boise State University, which has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide compassionate, effective care. Therapy is often the work you invest in yourself outside of meeting with a therapist, but there is always a space where you can receive support and encouragement when we connect. I invite you to experience how therapy can aid you on your path.
