Hi there, I'm Jason! My name is Jason Zagaro, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in South Carolina, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I earned my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. Before becoming a counselor, I was a yoga teacher and yoga studio owner for many years. Since then, I have been helping individuals navigate life's challenges as a Professional Counselor. My passion for mental health stems from my own experiences and life's challenges, along with a deep commitment to supporting people through transformative growth. My approach My approach to therapy varies based on each client's needs. I set clear goals for myself and my clients depending on their unique situations. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Mindfulness-Based Theory, and Positive Psychology. I believe in a collaborative process, working alongside my clients to help them gain deeper insights, build coping skills, and address the fear of adjustment and change. My focus I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationships, stress management, and addiction. I also have experience with clients dealing with OCD symptoms. I enjoy working with adults, young adults, teens, and couples. My experience includes helping clients process past trauma, manage stress, learn coping skills, and build resilience. Additionally, I am well versed in nutrition, exercise, and weight loss, which has been a passion of mine throughout my life. My communication style My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I listen carefully to my clients and engage with them honestly. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking to me about anything. I create a safe and open environment that allows clients to feel comfortable and cared for.
