In addition to his work as a Family Empowerment Specialist, Javon also provides therapy at a private practice. He holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work, with a specialization in mental health and substance use. Javon has prior experience as a therapist at a center for adult men experiencing substance use disorders, often alongside conditions such as depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.

That experience continues to shape his therapeutic approach today.
