Thank you for your courage in seeking to begin your therapeutic journey! Some people have believed the myth that therapy is for “crazy” people. This is only a myth. Therapy is for everyone because it offers an opportunity to explore, process and heal from old and new wounds alike. It is possible to live your most fulfilled life yet! My therapeutic approach is based in CBT and attachment theory and tailored to suit your unique needs. I like to take a short travel down memory lane in exploring how your past shapes your current experiences. I focus on relationships and the impact they have on our functioning, as our attachments often drive how we go about our daily lives. These attachments often go unexamined and can cause or reinforce behaviors that are unhealthy or even damaging. Together, we will identify those behaviors, their triggers, and find healthier solutions so you can really live your best life! I am from sunny south Florida, where I have enjoyed the warmth, beaches and palm trees. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from University of Central Florida and my Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings seeing clients from all walks of life. In my spare time I enjoy learning, reading, trying new foods, baking, singing, outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to hearing from you and learning just as much about you, as I guide you on your new journey to transformation. I’m really looking forward to meeting you and hearing your story. Knowing what you’ve been through and what’s important to you will help us define goals you can work towards. I’m excited to support you on your transformative journey to mental wellness and a lifestyle change. ** Medicaid is not accepted.**
