Hello, I'm Jean. Thank you so much for considering my services. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and couples through their unique journeys. I earned my MA in Counseling from St. Edward's University in Austin, TX, where I developed a strong foundation in various therapeutic theories and practices. In my sessions, I draw from a diverse range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I believe in tailoring my methods to fit the specific needs of each individual I work with, ensuring that our time together is both meaningful and effective. My experience as a therapist spans several areas, including addiction, adult family therapy, dual diagnosis, homelessness, and navigating significant life transitions such as the loss of a family member, divorce, or other phases of life. I also have a particular passion for supporting the local artist community, including many professional musicians, which adds a unique and creative dimension to my practice. Specializing in perinatal support, I work with clients through pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum stages. Additionally, I provide support for family relationships, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, adolescent and teen mental and behavioral health, intimate and romantic relationships, and life transitions.
