Getting to know Jean Gray

I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from Edinboro University and hold a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University. I’ve spent my professional life being a part of the helping relationship. I have had the opportunity to work at a forensic unit, domestic violence shelter, addiction facilities, and as a clinical program director for an adolescent facility. I value learning from my clients as well as sharing the knowledge I have gained.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The clients I work with will have the opportunity to increase , learn that their strength is within their emotions and tears, increase asking for their needs to be met, and learn to have a voice and utilize their strengths.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I can say I feel proud of the person I am becoming and the efforts I make. Jean has supported/challenged/encouraged me every step of the way.
Jean is great. She is accepting and completely honest while also pushing you to do better and take the necessary steps to feeling better.
Great therapist, I use her advice daily and tell my friends her feedback/help too. They also want to know what she has to think about things just as much as I do
Jean helps me find my voice, to look at my obstacles and realize they are my own making, that I'm a sum of my experiences. I am responsible for my own feelings, and they are valid, worthwhile, and important. I honestly look forward to seeing Jean because I know she won't give pedantic answers or insincere advice. She doesn't treat me as another patient and a copay, but as a flawed human with valid troubles and conflicting feelings who sometimes gets lost in my own thoughts and talk myself into a loop. I always feel a stronger each time I come away from a session with Jean and she's helping me figuring out who I am.
