Providing individual and group therapy for adults, she specializes in treating Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, and Grief utilizing MBSR Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, MBCT Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, relaxation techniques, Nonviolent Communication and Hypnotherapy/Guided Imagery. As a Mental Health Counselor, Gi will guide clients to transform their limiting beliefs and behavior patterns to create new positive perspectives and regain their personal power no matter what life presents us. Gi practices a 30-minute MBSR Meditation session 5 days a week in her home and enjoys teaching all levels of Reiki since 1996 and is a Qualified Teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, an evidenced-based 8-week meditation course developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. She also enjoys weightlifting and cycling for the Pan Mass Challenge for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 5 times since 2013, raising over $30,000.
