Getting to know Jeanette Vo-Vu

I am Jeanette Vo-Vu, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I am passionate about CHANGE. I work to support individuals, families, and couples struggling with life changes from early childhood through the end-of-life stages. In my work, I often engage my clients' natural support system (with their consent) in the change process. I have over 10 years of experience providing mental health services to individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, and recovery from traumatic and addiction experiences. I have knowledge and understanding of a variety of evidence-based interventions-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I received my Master's in Social Work from the University of Chicago in 1996 and have been providing mental health services since. When I'm not seeing clients, I enjoy reading, taking long walks, writing, music, and playing pranks on my children and husband.
