I can help you navigate through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem, work stress, and many more difficult life situations. I will hear what your goals are and use, primarily, a cognitive-behavioral approach to help you achieve your goals. Let my years of experience, knowledge, and compassion work for you. I will provide you with a safe and supportive place for you to feel comfortable as we take this journey together. My approach I primarily use a cognitive-behavioral approach in providing care. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach shown to help improve many mental health symptoms. I do give things to work on in between sessions to practice what is discussed during sessions. I also like to explain certain parts of the brain and how they work to give a better understanding of what goes into mental health and why I may be making the recommendations discussed in session. My focus Do you struggle with anxiety and/or panic? Do you feel sad or depressed? Do you have self-esteem issues that have prevented you from living the life you want? Do you have issues in your relationship that you would like to change? Are you stuck in a place in your life that is not where you want to be? Do you have work stress that you don't know how to handle? Do you have difficulty with time management or staying organized? I would be honored to help you through any of these issues! My communication style I welcome honest and open dialogue. Counseling with me is a non-judgmental zone. I do need to know what is going on with you and how you are feeling so I know how to best help you. There may be times when I have to challenge you or help you to get out of your comfort zone, so personal growth happens. My journey to mental healthcare I have overcome a lot of difficult times throughout my life, starting at a young age.
