Jeanine Amaro serves as the Clinical Director at Heartwise Support in Omaha, bringing over a decade of experience in mental health counseling and autism therapy. A native of Omaha, Jeanine's passion for supporting children with autism is deeply personal?both professionally and as a mother of two sons on the autism spectrum. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and holds a Master's in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Her journey into autism therapy began at Easterseals, where she recognized the critical need for improved services within the autism community. At Heartwise, she is dedicated to ensuring that each child's support plan is holistic and comprehensive, addressing all aspects of their lives through therapies such as ABA, speech, OT, and mental health services. Jeanine coordinates treatment across multiple settings?clinics, homes, schools, and the community?ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need.

It's not always easy to reach out when we need help. Counseling can be an intimidating process and overwhelming as we move through the trenches to make steps forward in our lives. By seeking to do the work, you are showing your tenacity and commitment to yourself to create the life you want. I am here to help you reach your highest potential and reach the happiness you are yearning for.
We will work together to help you develop tools you can utilize to create the best version of yourself and the life you have been dreaming of. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with varying degrees of client needs. I use an integrative approach pulling from many modalities for the best fit of each client.

The doctor called me and advised me that she could not see me and try to refer me to another but stated it will be a few weeks for the wait how unprofessional. She basically lied I called the membership line and was told she had availability. How you are suppose to help people with an illness and you are giving false information.
