I am here to help you navigate your path. With a Master's in Social Work from Florida International University, my goal is to empower you, help you regain your confidence surrounding who you are, and overcome obstacles placed in front of you. Life can be so confusing-you don't have to figure everything out on your own.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Although I understand some clients may need the relief from session one, usually the first session is about getting to know all about you, your history with treatment and other important info. From there on, I would be talking to you in depth about EMDR therapy, we would discuss the trauma that is currently distressing and what areas of your life your trauma is currently causing disruptions. Eventually, we will build coping skills specific to EMDR that can be used to help regulate you if needed and eventually progress to processing the trauma. After we have been working for a while, we will check in to reflect on the progress made and decide where to go from there.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
