Hello, I'm Jeffrey Edwards. With nearly three decades of experience as a licensed social worker, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my practice. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2022, and my journey in this field has been deeply rooted in working with children and adolescents, ages 3-19, primarily within the school setting. I've also had the privilege of supporting adults and families in educational environments, including a rewarding five-year tenure at a community college where I worked closely with adult learners. I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX, in 1994 with a Master of Social Work degree. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Client Centered Therapy. This blend allows me to tailor my methods to best fit the unique needs of each individual I work with. Specializing in areas such as ADHD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anxiety, children's mental/behavioral health, grief/bereavement, spirituality, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, and trauma, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space for my clients.
