What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me means stepping into a space built on honesty, collaboration, and respect. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and walk beside you as you move toward where you want to be. I’m not a therapist who simply nods and listens—I engage actively, ask meaningful questions, and help you uncover practical steps toward lasting change. I draw from mindfulness, solution-focused, and narrative therapy approaches to help you make sense of your story, find your strengths, and reframe challenges in a way that empowers you to move forward. Sessions are conversational and goal-oriented but also flexible enough to meet the emotional needs of the moment. Some days you may need structure and strategy; other days, a safe space to process and be heard. Both are welcome. Therapy with me is a partnership. You’ll always know what we’re working on and why, and I encourage open dialogue about what’s helping—or what might need to change—to ensure the process feels right for you. A Note on Informed Consent: Everything shared in our sessions is confidential, except in situations where safety is at risk or required by law (such as harm to self or others, or abuse). You’re encouraged to ask questions about the process, my approach, or any concerns that arise. My role is to guide, support, and empower you, while your role is to engage honestly and at your own pace. Together, we’ll focus on creating meaningful growth—one conversation at a time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

A typical session with me is conversational, collaborative, and focused on what you need most that day. Early sessions explore what brings you to therapy, what you hope to achieve, and the patterns that may be holding you back. As we move forward, we’ll balance insight with practical tools drawn from mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused approaches. Some sessions are structured and goal-oriented, while others provide space to process and reflect. I’ll meet you where you are, offering support, perspective, and gentle challenge when needed. My aim is for each session to leave you feeling heard, supported, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes next—one conversation at a time.

Ongoing session: $175 for 60 minutes

More information on payments and coverage

I currently accept most major insurance plans through my partnerships with Rula and Headway, which handle billing and eligibility checks on your behalf. This means your benefits are verified in advance and claims are submitted directly so you don’t have to manage paperwork. For clients who choose private pay, I offer an out-of-pocket payment option and will gladly provide you with an invoice that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Sometimes this invoice is called a “superbill”—it’s a detailed receipt listing services rendered, diagnosis and procedure codes, and the fee paid, so you can file an out-of-network claim if your plan allows. I am also actively expanding my credentials with additional insurance programs and panels, so if you have a particular plan in mind I’m happy to look into it. If you’re unsure about your coverage, deductible or out-of-network benefits, I’m here to help you check and navigate those details—so you can focus on getting the care you need without extra stress.
