Getting to know Jeffrey Prout

I am a mental health counselor with five years of clinical experience in a range of effective treatment approaches. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from UMass Boston and a Master’s in Psychology from Duquesne University. My clients come from diverse backgrounds, and I have extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My first goal is to create a supportive environment where everyone can feel heard and understood. I focus on the lived experiences of my clients and how both personal and social factors influence the ways we live and grow in the world. I have helped clients with a wide range of individual challenges, most notably attentional issues (ADD, ADHD), career and life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, and developing effective skills to build strong, supportive relationships.
