I am a licensed mental health counselor committed to helping individuals reclaim their lives. My work focuses on targeting ineffective behaviors and symptoms that stand in the way of the life you want to live. I believe everyone, regardless of the obstacle, has the ability and internal fortitude to overcome adversity and reach their goals. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and completed my internship there as well. I spent several years working in a specialized women's program where I learned the importance of addressing mental health and trauma in setting the foundation for change. “Trauma is perhaps the most avoided, ignored, belittled, denied, misunderstood, and untreated cause of human suffering.” – Peter Levine I want to bring that same philosophy of addressing these underlying causes to my practice, helping you remove the barriers to your best life! I am passionate about helping people build a strong, stable mental health foundation. I make it a priority to empower women and really enjoy working with those who are struggling with women-related issues and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
