Getting to know Jenn Jacoby

Looking for a safe place to heal and grow? Ready for change but feel stuck on how or where to begin? Then you are in the right place. I work with highly motivated clients who are ready for a life of hope and resilience, self-love and confidence, balance and empowerment. With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Barry University, I am here to provide a supportive space to help you slow down, feel empowered in the present, restore balance, and support you on your journey to wholeness and mental wellness. Together, we will navigate life's challenges to establish a more balanced, mindful, and resilient you-someone who steps forward in life with hope, confidence, and self-love.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our first session will be a productive one and divided into three parts. The first part will be me going over some logistics (policies, procedures, scheduling, the therapeutic process, and answers to any questions you may have). The second part will be me learning about you (past, present, future). The third part will begin with treatment planning and treatment goals and will conclude with coping strategies and stress-reducing techniques you can begin to implement immediately after your first session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Absolutely brilliant, open-minded, and receptive to everything that makes us human and unique. I feel treated like a person with thoughts and feelings, as opposed to a Patient # with problems to fix.
Jenn has been incredible. She makes me feel so comfortable when I’m sharing my personal life situations. She’s truly great at what she does!
I love her, one of the best people I’ve ever met. So glad I found her. I can’t express how much Jenn helps me in every aspect of life, I can’t wait to see my journey unfold with her. She’s very warm, open minded, empowering, challenging, direct, authentic and humorous ! No way I can pick just two!
She makes me feel like I am heard and that I matter, and really focuses on the issue at hand and gives great insight and feedback.
