Life can look manageable from the outside while feeling overwhelming, scattered, or exhausting underneath. You may struggle to get started, overthink decisions, replay conversations, or feel like your mind never slows down. Or you may spend so much energy worrying about or caring for the people you love that you have lost track of what you need. I work with adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, boundaries, codependency, relationship patterns, and the impact of loving someone struggling with addiction. Together, we can better understand what is keeping you stuck and find practical ways to move forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you are used to handling things on your own or taking care of everyone else. My goal with our time together is that you feel understood and supported as we work through difficult experiences and areas where you feel stuck. My approach is collaborative, practical, and flexible. I offer traditional talk therapy and art therapy and draw from evidence-based approaches based on your needs. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting. We can begin with where you are and work together from there.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will start by understanding what is bringing you to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what you would like to be different. From there, we can explore how past experiences, relationships, and patterns may be influencing what is happening today. I like to balance insight with practical support. Depending on your needs, we may work on getting started, managing overwhelm, setting boundaries, challenging perfectionism, regulating emotions, or changing patterns in relationships. Some sessions may focus more on reflection, while others may be more solution-focused. We will adjust our work based on what feels most useful to you.
