Getting to know Jenna Gallitto

One of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. My goal is to help you achieve greater self-awareness, improve your decision-making, enhance your resilience, and make meaningful connections. I work with adults struggling with life transitions, stress management, substance use, relationship issues, anxiety, and PTSD. If you are looking for an extra layer of support during challenging times, I can help you navigate your feelings, address underlying issues, build healthier habits, and change your mindset. Together, we can help you learn to live a life of authenticity. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the State University of New York, Buffalo, and have 14 years of clinical experience working in mental health, substance use, and domestic and sexual violence. I am currently offering both telehealth and in-person sessions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A strong predictor of successful therapy is the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist. I am committed to meeting you where you are at and creating a space where you will feel seen, heard, validated and most importantly understood! I believe therapy is the ultimate investment in yourself as I have personally made important gains in therapy. Start your therapy journey today!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I am a strength-based clinician and eclectic in my treatment approach, utilizing various types of therapy such as CBT, REBT and Motivational Interviewing. We will explore any underlying issues, develop a treatment plan and identify the goals you would like to work on in therapy. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and can help you to resolve many psychological traumas. ART allows you to erase old images and rewrite your story through reconsolidation, changing the physiological response to the memory. It is shown to achieve benefits in 1-5 sessions.
