Therapy can be a transformative tool for managing life’s transitions and challenges and supporting you in reaching your goals. I offer a safe and supportive environment, catering sessions to your unique needs and journey. With over ten years of experience providing therapy and ongoing work as a researcher, I bring commitment and knowledge to my collaborative work with you. My approach I provide a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to supporting your individual goals. The therapeutic approach we use will depend on your personal needs and preferences. I have experience providing evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. My research experience has centered on the developmental influences of trauma and attachment relationships across the lifespan, parent-child relationships, foster youth engagement programs and child welfare practices, spiritual and religious transitions, psychedelic-assisted therapies, and harm reduction. My focus I work with diverse adults across the lifespan, including LGBTQ+ and gender diverse individuals and families. Additionally, I have experience working with people experiencing a variety of mental health concerns and life transitions, including supporting clients experiencing grief and loss, perinatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, women’s health, premenstrual dysphoric disorder, parental stress, posttraumatic stress disorder, chronic pain, hospice and palliative care, religious transition and religious trauma, and attachment-related concerns. I also have experience working with combat veterans and their families. My communication style I value open, honest communication in our sessions. Former clients have described me as easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and accepting. They also know I will kindly challenge them and push them to dig deeper when the circumstances call for it.
