Psychotherapist
TX
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. Life has a way of shifting — sometimes gently, sometimes all at once. Whether you're navigating the emotional waves of postpartum, adjusting to midlife changes, facing the challenges of perimenopause, redefining yourself after divorce, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the mental load of motherhood, therapy can offer a grounded place to reconnect with yourself. As a person-centered counselor, my approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I use evidence-based tools like cognitive behavioral and rational emotive behavioral therapy to help identify unhelpful thought patterns, reframe your perspective, and develop strategies that align with your values and goals. I'm solution-focused by nature, always respecting the pace and path of your individual journey. I earned my M.S. in Professional Counseling from Texas Woman’s University in 2008 and have been a fully licensed clinician in the state of Texas since 2010. My experience spans a wide range of clinical settings, including community mental health and over a decade in behavioral healthcare leadership roles within an international healthcare organization. I currently design clinical programs to support mental wellness on a broader scale — but my heart remains in the one-on-one work of helping individuals heal, adapt, and thrive. My areas of focus include life transitions, maternal mental health, women’s emotional wellness in midlife and beyond, depression, and stress related to parenting or identity shifts. I’m currently offering telehealth sessions only, and I’d be honored to support you through whatever season you're in.
