Jenni Sickler, LPC

Psychotherapist
405 N Wabash Ave, Ste 208, Chicago, IL
My hope is to cultivate a therapeutic environment that is authentic, empathetic, non-judgmental, and filled with compassionate curiosity. I view therapy as a collaborative process that encourages growth, resilience, self-compassion, and empowerment in the areas that are important to you. As an art therapist with a Master's in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University and a Bachelor's degree from Fresno Pacific University, I incorporate the art-making process as a restorative tool to increase insight through nonverbal forms of expression and expand imaginative capabilities within oneself. My desire is to provide a safe space to explore past experiences and traumas while creatively working toward healing and growth. I work with adults and adolescents, focusing on and experienced in trauma-related symptoms and disorders, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, attachment disruptions, life transitions, personality disorders, identity development, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. My hope is for people to feel seen and heard, have space to cultivate their identity, and hopefully navigate their way toward healing and peace through the therapeutic process. I invite you to collaboratively and creatively join me in exploring what that looks like for you.
