I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I was born and raised in Western New York and graduated with a Masters in Social Work in 2002 from the University at Buffalo. I have worked in a variety of settings and with people from all walks of life. I am so grateful for each one of them, and I am grateful for the lessons they have taught me. Life is hard. I offer a safe space for my clients to work through and process the difficulties they are facing while encouraging them to take good care of themselves, to seek out and nurture positive connections with others, and to search for and hold onto the things that make life worth living. I have a compassionate heart, and I am a good listener. I feel it is an honor and a privilege to do this work. In our first session together, here's what you can expect In each session, the most important thing I can do is to be present and listen. I am genuinely curious and interested in you. In the first session especially, I believe people come in carrying a heavy load, and I will listen and be patient while you set it down and begin to sort it out. From there, we will make a plan together on how to proceed. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions What I have to offer in addition to my education and experience is kindness, patience, sincerity, empathy, compassion, optimism, and hope. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I am here to be supportive when life feels overwhelming or stressful. I am here to listen when you need to talk. My role is not to tell you what to do, it is to walk beside you as you navigate your own journey. I will give suggestions and ideas, help you identify and work toward your goals, and I will try to offer a fresh, objective perspective. I will also offer tools to help you build healthy coping strategies and self-confidence.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
