Getting to know Jennifer Bernstein

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who attained my master's degree at Lindenwood University. I have worked with adolescents and individuals in a community based and private setting. I currently work with children ages 8 and up as well as adults who want to take control of their mental and emotional wellbeing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapeutic approach is warm and inviting. I use many different evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help my clients reach their goals. As a result, my clients will gain positive behavioral changes as well as confidence in their own decision-making skills.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first session, I will gather information about you in order to complete an initial assessment. This usually takes up the first session. After that we will complete a treatment plan along with goals. Subsequent sessions will be working on how to help you meet your goals. I do also provide talk therapy.
