Based in Trinity, FL, Jennifer Cindy Brenner is a goal-oriented psychotherapist passionate about working within the specialty of trauma. She sees patients for PTSD, anxiety, burnout, and other stress-related disorders. Cindy is practicing at LifeStance Health Company. She has extensive experience working with patients who struggle to understand themselves and the symptoms that often arise after experiencing trauma.
Cindy has worked extensively with adults who have a history of trauma from childhood abuse or neglect, First Responders, Veterans and Military Service members, Migrants and Refugees with trauma histories or adjustment difficulties, providing reunification therapy within the DCF system after abuse or neglect, survivors of trauma in correctional settings, and the elderly and disabled population.
She earned her Master's in Social Services Counseling from Troy University in Tampa and holds a Bachelor's degree from Argosy University, Tampa.
Cindy has a rich history of giving back to her community. In 2014, she helped co-found the Refugee and Migrant Women Initiative, an agency providing support groups for refugee and migrant women, now a 501(c)(3). She celebrated five years as a Bereavement Volunteer with Suncoast Hospice and two years as an Adult Refuge Mentor for the Refugee Services Program at Gulf Coast Jewish Family Services, where she also initiated an Older Adult Companion program for the Elder and Disabled Services Program. She served five years as a Child Mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County. Additionally, she served four years as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Suncoast Mental Health Counselors Association and currently serves as a Board Member at Large.

I had an appointment with Ms. Brenner 12/27. She did my intake and said she has to refer me to someone else. I was not contacted since. I need help and Ms. Brenner let me down…

I can't begin to express my appreciation for this therapist. I almost lost all hope of feeling normal again and only did therapy as a last option. I feel like a whole new person. I would highly recommend her for PTSD.

Cindy aka Jennifer has been amazing. I was nervous and skeptical of trying therapy again because I had a bad experience with another therapist but my doctor recommended her. I'm glad I listened. Cindy made me comfortable from day one. I would definitely recommend her!
