Getting to know Jennifer Caruso
My name is Jenni Caruso, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to providing clinically informed, person-centered therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. I hold a Master of Education in Community Counseling and a Bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia. My clinical expertise includes adolescent development, emotional, behavioral, and social challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, women's issues, grief and loss, life transitions and stressors, as well as gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ care.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I utilize a variety of clinically-informed interventions and modalities to assist clients with gaining insight into their mental health, building resilience and meeting individual therapeutic goals. The foundation of my therapeutic approach is person-centered, which allows for the development of a safe, trusting, and supportive therapeutic relationship.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In my professional and personal experience, the relationship between a therapist and client plays a critical role in the therapeutic process. The therapeutic relationship greatly impacts the effectiveness of therapy and treatment outcomes. We will work together to improve your mental health and mental wellness while enhancing your overall quality of life.

At Ascend Medical, our self-pay rate for therapy appointments is $199 which applies to all patients booking with out-of-network insurance. Upon booking, we'll reach out to gather your card-on-file information. Please be aware that if we are unable to reach you in a timely manner, your appointment slot will be released. A $99 cancellation fee applies to no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain an efficient schedule to serve all our patients effectively.

I was at my appt on time and the therapist was a no show. No one cancelled for her ahead of time. So VERY disappointed. This was a therapy appt!!!!!! Someone showed up late to tell me she was not coming! Terrible business!!
