Jennifer Crane, known for her warm and approachable disposition, is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University and is trained in EMDR, domestic violence and sexual assault response, M-TREM (Men's Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model), and complex grief. Jennifer served as the Director of the Newtown Center for Support and Wellness, a mental health referral agency in Newtown. Prior to Newtown, Jennifer worked at private and public universities, where some of her responsibilities included integral roles on behavioral intervention teams and responding to a wide array of mental health emergencies. Her experience also includes working in Miami, Florida, with court-mandated families-helping families navigate reunification and assisting after significant family crises-and clinical work in Monroe, Connecticut, serving children, individuals, couples, and families. Jennifer has extensive experience working with college students, young adults, and working professionals struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem, and managing difficult life transitions.
