Hi there, I'm Jennifer! Hello, my name is Jennifer Drager, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC, CFTP. I earned my Master's in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges across the lifespan. My approach I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a Solution-Focused form of therapy, tailoring it to the unique needs of each client. My focus I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, minors aged 13-17, and preteens from 8 to 12 who face issues such as anxiety, ADHD, and adjusting to life challenges or changes. My communication style I am firm when necessary but recognize that you are the expert on your life. I am here to support and help you navigate the waters. My journey to mental healthcare I started in child welfare and realized I wanted to help individuals develop skills to be successful parents. Over time, I have transitioned to addressing mental health concerns across the lifespan and conducting family and couples sessions when needed. My goals for you I ask my clients to identify what they want and need from therapy, and then we develop goals together. My first session with you We typically discuss your concerns, review cognitive distortions and thinking errors, and explore what has been successful for you in moving past these challenges before.
