Psychotherapist

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to women across New Jersey and Florida who feel constantly “on.” My clients are often high-achieving, thoughtful, and capable on the outside — yet internally exhausted from overthinking, pressure, and anxiety that won’t turn off. If your mind replays conversations, anticipates worst-case scenarios, or critiques you long after the day is over, you’re not alone. Many of the women I work with struggle with perfectionism, performance pressure, and a nervous system that feels wired even when they want to rest. You may look like you have it all together, but inside you feel overwhelmed, tense, and unable to fully exhale. My approach is integrative and mind-body focused. I combine evidence-based therapy with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and yoga-informed techniques to help you move out of mental overdrive and back into your body. Together, we work to reduce anxiety, quiet self-criticism, build emotional resilience, and create sustainable tools for managing stress in daily life. Therapy with me is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I create a space where you can slow down, reflect, and feel understood without judgment. You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. My goal is to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more grounded — not by changing who you are, but by helping you reconnect with your strength in a healthier, more sustainable way. If you’re ready to feel more regulated, confident, and at ease in your own mind, I’d be honored to support you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me is collaborative, grounded, and active. I don’t just sit back and nod — I engage with you. You can expect thoughtful questions, practical tools, and real conversations that help you understand both your patterns and your nervous system. Many of my clients come in feeling mentally “on” all the time. They’ve tried to think their way out of anxiety, but it hasn’t worked. In our sessions, we gently shift from over-analysis to awareness. While we absolutely explore your thoughts, we also pay attention to what’s happening in your body — tension, breath, restlessness, shutdown. Anxiety isn’t just cognitive; it’s physiological. We address both. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and yoga-informed techniques. This might include learning how to regulate your nervous system, practicing grounding exercises in session, identifying perfectionistic thought patterns, or building boundaries that reduce overwhelm. Everything we use is practical and meant to translate into real life. You will never be forced to move faster than you’re ready for. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you — it’s about helping you understand yourself with more compassion while building skills that make daily life feel more manageable. Clients often tell me they appreciate that sessions feel both supportive and structured. There is space for emotion and depth, but also direction and momentum. If you’re someone who functions well on the outside but feels exhausted on the inside, we’ll work toward helping you feel calmer, clearer, and more at ease in your own mind and body.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is focused on understanding you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve already tried, and what feels most overwhelming right now. I’ll ask questions about your history, stress patterns, relationships, and how anxiety or pressure shows up in both your thoughts and your body. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — we go at your pace. From there, we create a collaborative plan. Some clients want structured skill-building right away; others need space to unpack and process. Most benefit from a combination of both. A typical session often includes three components: insight, regulation, and integration. Insight involves identifying patterns — perfectionism, overthinking loops, people-pleasing, or self-criticism — and understanding how they developed. Regulation focuses on helping your nervous system settle. We may practice grounding exercises, breathwork, mindfulness, or body-based awareness techniques in session so you leave feeling more steady, not more activated. Integration means translating what we discuss into real life. We develop practical tools you can use between sessions — boundary scripts, cognitive reframes, stress-reduction strategies, or brief embodied practices that fit into a busy schedule. Sessions are conversational but intentional. I may gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns, highlight strengths you’re overlooking, or guide you through a short experiential exercise. My goal is not just insight, but sustainable change. Over time, many clients notice they react less intensely, recover from stress more quickly, and feel more confident in their ability to manage anxiety without spiraling. Therapy is not about becoming a different person — it’s about feeling more regulated, self-aware, and grounded in who you already are.
