Jenny is a warm, compassionate therapist who believes in the effectiveness of evidence-based interventions and the transforming power it can have in the lives of individuals and families. Jenny is passionate about partnering with individuals and families in finding healing and alleviating symptoms using TEAM CBT and traditional CBT approaches. Her experience working with diverse ages and needs gives her the ability to confidently collaborate with clients to overcome many of life’s problems including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, family problems, OCD, phobias, and trauma. Furthermore, she has training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE treatment) which is an evidenced-based treatment of childhood anxiety and OCD that works primarily with parents to give them the tools they need for these unique challenges. Jenny has a wide range of experience including working in community mental health, working with teens, children and their parents in residential treatment center, and working with adults suffering from anxiety disorders, depression, and OCD in outpatient counseling. Jenny received her Master’s degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. Her training includes intensive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & TEAM therapy training by David Burns, M.D. CBT/ERP for OCD in Children and Adolescents from Massachusetts General Hospital. She is certified through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and has also been trained as a Parent Educator in Positive Discipline.
