Hi there! I’m Jen, and I believe therapy is a co-creative process—a space where we can explore what’s coming up for you with curiosity, depth, and even a little humor. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself, I’m here to support you. What should a new client know about working with you?
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston and am trained in relational approaches and group psychodynamics, with additional training in somatic and polyvagal-informed practices. I am trauma-informed, a certified Usui Reiki Master, and have experience supporting clients in exploring and appreciating their dreams.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, self-criticism, identity, relationships, and life transitions. I often collaborate with artists and clients seeking a deeper connection with themselves. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by my experiences as an artist, involvement in creative subcultures, and an interest in esoteric and mystical practices.
I believe therapy is relational and transformative, where healing emerges through connection, attuned presence, and inner wisdom. I value diverse perspectives and honor the many ways individuals create meaning in their lives. In my free time, I enjoy sunshine walks, swimming, cooking, laughter, dreaming, following weekly astrology, and dancing to psychedelic music.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Sessions together may involve cultivating mindful awareness to process emotions, reflective dialogue to recognize patterns, and embodied practices to help you tune into your body’s wisdom. I enjoy weaving in creative and alternative ways to cope, find meaning, and promote transformations that resonate with you and support the mind, body, and spirit.

I booked this appointment on Zocdoc where my insurance was approved. I arrived at the appointment and waited 15 minutes before calling their number. The woman who answered answered told me she had been trying to get a hold of me to cancel the appointment due to my insurance, not being accepted. I did not have a call, text or email from the Austin mindfulness center about canceling this appointment. The appointment is still showing in Zocdoc but apparently it was canceled and I never had the appointment. All in all, it was a waste of time.
