Getting to know Jennifer Mann

OUT OF NETWORK PROVIDER When booking, you will be scheduling a complimentary 15-minute consultation that is required for all prospective patients prior to scheduling your first session. Jennifer is a psychotherapist seeing patients virtually in New York and Connecticut. She specializes in working with motivated young professionals who are looking to address anxiety, life transitions, dating and relationships, family dynamics, body image, and self-esteem. Jennifer uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and support of the mind-body connection tailored to her clients' individual needs. She earned her master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University, worked at Mount Sinai Hospital, and completed advanced clinical training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Through therapy, her clients are empowered to connect with their strengths, their stories, and their unique abilities to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a provider and supervisor I would describe my style as active, engaged and authentic. When working together, I see it as an opportunity to connect in a warm and safe space. We interact human to human. We create a space for you to explore, reflect and grow. Learning your needs and the kind of space that gives you the ability to thrive in session and out of session is how I evaluate and cultivate this unique experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you can truly dive into your passion and authentic path, the “job” becomes something different and I hope to share that with the patients and larger community that the practice connects with.
