Getting to know Jennifer Martinez ( Jenna )

Hello! I'm Jenna Martinez, it's so nice to virtually meet you. And well done being here, looking into getting support for your mental health. That takes courage. If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addiction, difficult relationships, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, therapy can help. Together, we’ll create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

A bit about me: I’m a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to providing collaborative, trauma-informed, person-centered care. I earned a master's from Columbia School of Social Work and my clinical approach includes working knowledge of Power, Race, Oppression, and Privilege (PROP) issues, recognizing that our experiences are shaped not only by our internal world but also by the cultural and systemic forces that influence our lives. I foster a therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to explore and process their experiences.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Whether you’re here seeking support for anxiety, depression, greater emotional regulation, healthier relationships, freedom from longstanding behavioral patterns that no longer serve you or all of the above, you’re in the right place and I look forward to working with you.

I have appreciated and loved my visits with Jenna. Her ability to help guide me, and unpack different parts of my life has been essential over the last difficult year of my life. I was juggling a major career change, my family and caring for my mom. Her insight and guidance has changed my life. She is attentive, caring and a phenomenal cheerleader. She is also someone that will make you do the inner work necessary to become the best version of yourself. I will always be grateful I made the decision to work with her; I would highly recommend her to help you on your journey!

I highly recommend Jenna. She is genuine and cares about her work. She takes time to get to know her patients and her approach is tailored to each individual. She gave me tools that I was looking for and also allowed me to realize the tools that I already had to navigate different life and relationship situations. She is a great therapist.
Jenna is a pleasure to work with!
I've had the privilege of working alongside Jenna as a colleague, and I can say with confidence that she's the kind of therapist you want in your corner. Her clients truly mean a lot to her — she's not just doing a job, she's genuinely invested in their wellbeing. She listens carefully to what everyone has to say, and she brings real curiosity to every session, always exploring new angles and helping clients see their situations from perspectives they hadn't considered before. She leads with heart in everything she does, and that authenticity comes through in how she works. If you're considering therapy, you'd be in wonderfully capable and caring hands with Jenna.
Jenna has been absolutely amazing. She has been instrumental in some of the positive changes I've seen in my life since I began working with her. She is kind and supportive, and yet will still challenge me. She really took to the time to understand where the pain points in my life have been and given me actionable ways to approach them. I will forever be thankful she came into my life. I have recommended her to many of my friends, and wholeheartedly extend that recommendation here.
