What is your typical process for working with clients?

The methodology used at Begin Healing Within has based its foundation on a combination of theories including Psychodynamic, Bowenian, and John Bradshaw's work on marriage, inner child wounds, and shame/abandonment wounds originating in our childhoods. I begin our sessions by asking about your caregivers and environment growing up as well as your past and present significant relationships. I use this information to create a genogram which helps me to identify patterns, defense mechanisms and core beliefs.
