Hi there, I'm Jennifer! Hello, my name is Jennifer Mullowney, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Widener University. I follow an individualized and integrative approach to therapy. My approach I use a combination of cognitive behavioral, supportive, and solution-focused therapies, along with psycho-education. My focus I work with adults, focusing on depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship and family issues, as well as women's issues. My communication style I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment while being honest. Working with me will feel like a collaboration as we work toward your best self and your goals. My journey to mental healthcare My path to this career began with an internship during my undergraduate studies. My desire to help people guided me in this direction. I have been doing this work for over 20 years and cannot imagine doing anything else. My goals for you I believe in partnering with my clients to develop their treatment goals. My first session with you I understand that some clients feel nervous about the first session. During our initial meeting, we will review your reasons for seeking therapy and what you hope to accomplish. I will also go over your intake information and may ask additional questions to ensure I am the right fit for you.
